Spruce Log Home Refinishing in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta

Tucked into the Rocky Mountain foothills near Nordegg, this Spruce log home was due for a full reset. Years of Alberta sun, wind, and freeze-thaw cycles take their toll on any log structure out here, and the owner was ready…

They were fast and professional. Extensive prep that definitely helped with the cleanup too. Thanks Sal and guys!! Looking forward to keeping in touch! Williston, North Dakota. Done in September 2026.

They clearly explained each stage of the process and provided regular updates through photos and in-person discussions. Their professionalism and experience were evident from the beginning.

The work progressed efficiently, the project was completed on schedule, and the final result exceeded our expectations. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality were outstanding.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sal and his crew made our log home look new again. They were efficient, paid close attention to detail and cleaned up well after themselves. Sal's communication throughout the process was second to none - he walked us through it every step of the way. I can't believe they were able to blast and stain our whole house in just a few days.

(Note: we opt'd to stain the railings and deck ourselves so ignore that they are unfinished in these photos)

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Frontier was able to restore our log home that had decades worth of layered peeling paint. Their media blasting and staining services were exactly what we needed at a time that we needed it most. They are a kind, efficient, communicative, and hardworking crew and we are very happy to have worked with them.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our Lindal Cedar home was over the years maintained by chemically stripping and staining by hand. This was very hard to do and difficult to get the finish we wanted.
Frontier Log Home Restoration in basically 3 days gave us the coloring and finish we absolutely love.
Saleem and his crew did a fantastic job of preparing, sandblasting and staining our 3200 square foot home.
We highly recommend this company for any restoration project!
